Upstairs units, tight stairs and high-rises

A lot of LA furniture lives on the second or third floor of a walk-up, at the top of a narrow stairway, or in a building where the elevator has to be booked. We carry it down. Tell us how many flights there are, whether there's an elevator, and how far it is to where a truck can park.

Big pieces sometimes have to come apart to get out. Sectionals usually split into sections, bed frames and many tables come apart, and legs can come off. If a piece only fit in through a window or a balcony door, tell us when you ask for a quote.

If your building has a loading dock or elevator rules, check with the building manager first. Many want a reserved time and pads in the elevator. Book the time and tell us, so we can schedule the job around it.

Mattresses and box springs

Mattresses are bulky and awkward, and nobody wants one leaning on the curb for days. We take mattresses and box springs of any size, plus the bed frame and headboard.

If a mattress has bed bugs, please tell us when you ask for a quote so we can plan for it.

Office furniture

Moving offices, downsizing, or clearing out after a lease ends? We take desks, chairs, filing cabinets, shelving and conference tables. Empty desks and filing cabinets of anything confidential before we arrive, since we don't offer document shredding.

Office buildings often limit moves to certain hours and require the freight elevator to be booked. Send us those rules with your photos and we'll plan the job around them.

City pickup or us?

If LA Sanitation serves your home, you can request a free bulky item pickup through MyLA311 or by calling 311. It's a good choice if you can get the item to the curb yourself and can wait for the scheduled day.

How pricing works and how to get a faster quote

Price depends on how many pieces there are, how big and heavy they are, and how hard they are to get out. A loveseat from a ground floor living room is simpler than a sleeper sofa from a third floor walk-up. You get one fixed price in writing before we start, with no surprise fees.
