Junk removal in Venice
Venice homes sit on small lots, tight alleys and walk streets where no car can pull up to the front door. We plan every Venice job around that, so your stuff leaves without a fight over parking.
- One fixed price in writing
- Same-day service often available
- Free return if anything's not right
How Venice is built, and why it matters for hauling
A lot of Venice was laid out before cars mattered. On the walk streets, the front door faces a footpath, and cars reach the homes from an alley out back. Near the canals, houses are packed close together with almost no room to stage a pile. Along Pacific Avenue, some of the old apartment buildings from the early 1900s have no parking at all.
Many lots also have a second unit now: a back house, a converted garage or a new ADU. That means two households of stuff can come out of one property, and the back unit is usually the hardest one to reach. Inland, around Oakwood and the blocks off Abbot Kinney Boulevard, lots are narrow and deep, often with a bungalow up front and a second unit behind it.
Jobs we see most in Venice
Owners of small rental buildings and property managers call us most here. Agents getting a listing ready and contractors wrapping up a remodel are close behind.
- Beach rental turnovers, when a tenant leaves behind a couch, a bed frame and a closet full of odds and ends
- Garage cleanouts before a garage gets converted into an ADU or rebuilt
- Bathroom and kitchen remodel debris from small lots with no room for a dumpster
- Swapping out the furniture in a furnished rental between guests or tenants
- Long-term tenant move-outs in the older Pacific Avenue buildings, where everything comes down the stairs and has to be carried to wherever we can load
Access tips that make a Venice job go faster
When you send photos, a few details help us price it right the first time:
- Is the home on a walk street? Give us the alley address or the closest alley entrance.
- Can we stop in the alley to load, or do the neighbors' garages need to stay clear?
- Is the junk in a back unit, upstairs, or behind a side gate? A gate code and a photo of the path help a lot.
- Are you close to the boardwalk? Weekend beach crowds slow everything down, so a weekday morning is usually smoother.
Nearby areas we also cover
Mar Vista, Del Rey, Playa Vista and Playa del Rey are all in our area too. See all of our Westside service areas.
The Marina Peninsula strip by the beach is part of Venice, which surprises a lot of people. Wherever you are along this stretch of coast, summer weekends bring the same crowds, so plan a weekday if you can.
FAQ
Questions about Venice
My house is on a walk street. Can you still haul from it?
Yes. We carry everything along the walk street or through the back to wherever we can load, which is usually the alley. Send a photo of the path so your fixed price covers the carry.
Can you clear out a garage before we build an ADU?
Yes. Old furniture, boxes, shelving, bikes and yard waste all go, and we leave the garage empty and ready for your contractor. Paint and chemicals need to go to a LASAN S.A.F.E. center instead.
Can you load from a beach-area rental with no parking?
Usually, yes. Send a photo of the street or alley out front and where a truck could stop, and we'll plan the load around it before we come.
