South of Franklin, most blocks are apartment buildings from the 1920s through the 1960s, plus bungalow courts with small units around a shared walkway. Along Hollywood Boulevard, Sunset and the blocks near Vine, newer mid-rise and high-rise buildings have garages, loading areas and managers who set rules for vendors. North of Franklin, the streets start climbing into the hills and get narrow fast. Some only fit one car at a time, so if you're above Franklin, tell us about the street and any steps up to the door.

Courtyard buildings are their own challenge. Units often sit far from the street, down a long walkway or up outdoor stairs. A photo of the path from the curb to the door helps us price the carry correctly. Bungalow courts usually share one narrow walkway, so neighbors will be passing by while we work, and we keep the path clear as we go.
