Housing in Van Nuys
Along Van Nuys Boulevard, Sepulveda and Sherman Way, there are a lot of two and three-story apartment buildings, many built around a courtyard or with parking underneath. The side streets are mostly single-family houses on decent-sized lots, often with a detached garage, a shed or a back house. Many are ranch-style homes with a long driveway down one side, which is usually the clearest path from the backyard to the street.
Bigger lots collect more stuff. Backyard sheds, side yards and garages are some of the most common spots we clear in Van Nuys. Owners who've been here for decades often have a garage nobody has parked in for years.
Apartment buildings on the main boulevards often have parking off an alley behind them. That's usually where we load, since stopping on Van Nuys Boulevard or Sepulveda isn't practical.

Some industrial lots also lock their gates outside set hours, so tell us who will meet us and when.
